Over 100 contestants have participated at the International Beard Championship, in the north of Germany. All the contestants had creative beards and moustaches but the winner was a beard twisted in the shape of a windmill. The name of the winner of this beard contest is Elmar Weiss.

A German website, Pundo3000.com, has conducted a study of 100 different products by comparing the look of the products as shown by the packaging with the actual contents inside the boxes. Quoting the website, which is in German: “All products were purchased, the packaging photographed and the contents prepared and photographed too. All products were then eaten up.” and also: “The purpose of the project is not to discredit any brands or products but to critically compare the packaging advertising with the inside contents”.

How can you move a building? You probably would say that you need to deconstruct it and then build again, wouldn’t you? However, there are some people in Germany who would probably disagree. Emmaus-Kirche, which is a church built 750 years ago has recently been moved from one town to another due to a coal deposit found under it. The cost of such transportation is 3 million euros.
