For those of you have stuck with us for sometime now, pretty sure you will notice something ’slightly’ different with our site today. Uh huh, we have a spanking new custom designed theme :). We have put in a lot of effort and time into getting this design out and we sincerely do hope you like it too. We would love to hear your feedback, but please be nice as we really do like it alot!
Please also indicate how much you like (or dislike, hopefully not) our new theme by voting on the left sidebar ya?

I agree with those other comments. If you reduce those 3-column-design to just 2 columns, it would not look that chaotic. And the speed of my browser to render this design is very low. I think that’s because of the many images. Maybe you can also reduce those. But nice work
New layout/design is horrible. Why all this black? And why 3 columns?

I LIKE IT PERSONALLY BUT I DO AGREE THAT THE 3 COLUMNS IS NOT THE BEST BECUASE IT DOES LOOK KINDA LIKE CLUTTERED UP IN HERE, BUT I WILL STILL BE CHECKIN IT OUT. BTW WHATEVER HAPPENDE TO MRS FUNTASTICUS?
I like the new site but as said Above:
1) 2 columns would be better.
2) Could ditch the watermark on your pics. Although this isn’t really a visit killer. I’ll still come back.
While i understand adds are a primary source of income they are freaking annoying the shit out of me.
Would less intrusive banners / repositioned lower be an option?
Other than that, it’s quite obvious the amount of work you guys have put into the theme, along with the effort to keep funtasticus alive through the recent technological problems.

haha, lucas, it’s cool that you are sharing honestly. We do appreciate that. there are somethings that have to be done in order to make this site sustainable, and you can guess which ones they are. we just hope you guys will appreciate the efforts we make to bring you the best fun content everyday while balancing the need to sustain our costs. but it is disappointing that a large majority don’t like this new design, which was supposed to enhance the viewing pleasure of funtasticus. guess different strokes for different folks

The only technical problems with the theme is, the link at the top right for the Safe for Work option, and the add space in the top right corner of column three (above the poll) appear to be fubar… (for me anyways.)

The new layout is kinda okay…but I still prefer the two column old layout of Funtasticus. The old layout was way too good looking and simple…I really didn’t like the black color background and the image displaying Funtasticus at the top….and oh! btw, why are there 18 posts still pending for a review….that includes two posts by me… I wonder is there something like Funtasticus doesn’t accept posts from me or anything like that?

I don’t mind the new layout so much. I agree it’s cluttered but I understand you guys need to make your money. Perhaps if you could shrink the new third column down and give greater real estate to the content column that would work better for some people. Really the content should be the thing that sticks out not the things on the side.
Since I’m commenting, I’ll agree with a previous comment that I dislike the watermarking of images that funtasticus recently began using. I don’t see much point in this especially since these images are gathered from the web.
On that note, I’d LOVE it if we could get a link to the original website for the image. At least some reference or something. There’s a ton of times I see images and think they deserve further investigation but there’s not way for me to find out where that image originally came from. Perhaps make it a member feature? I dunno but it’d be much appreciated.

The green layout was much better, i agree it looks cluttered and messy.
Not trying to be gay but i think there’s too many girls now. Nothing interesting like it used to be. I don’t even scroll through all the daily pics anymore.
Bad move with tagging all the pictures with funtasticus. I’ve seen these pictures normally a week earlier on leenks. I always come to your site first though because of the cool green layout.
The black makes it look the same as all the other sites.
Hello, Since I could not do it any better by a long shot and since I really like the site, I will not complain, but I am not really fond of the green or the black. I will always stay tuned for your material because you have a great site, but I agree with the watermark, also.

hate the watermark, too. layout’s cool, understand you have to make money, but i think the middle column should be bigger, too.
I like the new layout and overall look. Three column looks cluttered at first but you can tweek it and people get used to it anyway.
I visit for the content, not the layout, anyway. Sorry I don’t link to you much but when I do you get credit.
Anyone that doesn’t like the layout should visit my place, then come back and you will like it here better. Heh.
I think it’s fine. I’m really happy you don’t have white type on a black background for the content, it really bothers my eyes (especially if you switch to looking at black type on white). so kudos for not doing that!
as for the ads, don’t really care if it means I get a fun entertaining site for free. as long as there aren’t ones that float over content or those ones that take me to another site and I have to click “skip ad” to get back to the page I was looking at.
the green did seem like an odd design choice.

I think there are too many animal pics in the daily pics section,Yeah, I know its cute and everything but I would rather see an interesting girl over another cute kitty picture anyday! and the watermark is really annoying, I think a NSFW section would be a nice feature too, along with a new tecnology section of new and interesting stuff. I like the look of the site now better than the old green, it seems a bit more adult and more futuristic, the old look kinda seemed dated and was screaming for a change anyway! so nice job on the new look! I did try and upload a new avatar and even after resizing it to 60×60 pixles it wouldnt upload, whats up with that? its a small issue but I like an avatar rather than a plain image, Im sure its a small fix and I will try again later, anyway, Its all good!, I always enjoy coming here everyday, its a very entertaining,educational site and always has enough cool stuff to keep me coming back! The net doesn’t need another EBaum (watermarks). I also dislike the layout for the same reasons as everyone else.

I like the layout, even thoughits black it seems very diggish.
Wonderful design,much better than the old one. i like it. but i agree that the site will be better on a 2 column..
Site keeps deteriorating. It loads faster, but there are so many little things that keep going awry that it sometimes is more annoying that pleasurable. Yes, the watermark sucks. Yes, the glaring ads suck. But it was the content that kept me returning, and I still return from time to time to see if things have improved.
What happened to Lordy? Sorry Maverick, but Lordy’s posts were mostly the reason I got hooked… they were gritty and fun.
This is awful. I liked this site too. The old green site was so easy on the eyes and now this? My eyes are coming out of my head. Oh well.
Why ask for comments on the new look anyway? It won’t change back again no matter how many people say they don’t like it.
Can i still vote my dissatisfaction with the new layout? The old green look was more friendly and inviting, this new black one looks played out and businesslike, the design itself look like it took some work but by making things so cluttered its taking away from the feel of things + its something abt green that was nice
