Beijing Olympics Interpreted in Lego

August 6th, 2008 (Posted by maverick)

With the Beijing Olympics just 3 days away, we thought it would be cool to share some interesting pictures of the Olympics. Here, some lego fanatics have combined their forces to build this massive Beijing Olympics lego model. The model was displayed in Hong Kong and includes replicas of real buildings that are part of the Olympics like the Olympic Village and the Bird’s Nest Stadium. In case you were wondering, it took them more than 100 hours to complete this work.

  • This is outstanding! Really great work, BRAVO - the only thing I can say as a person that knows about how many hours and love to detail is necessary to perform things linke that :-)
A real big compliment to the creators!
Did LEGO get information on that? You should try and get their “official approval” :-)
Keep on being creative with the bricks :-)
