The picture of the murdered gorillas was the most heartbrealking thing I have seen in a very long time. How cruel and inhumane.
The dead gorillas had me in tears. But the little boy and the whale make up for a tiny bit of that. The women on the bridge were quite amazing too!
Sadness and rage are the result of seeing the gorillas. Why are people so needlessly cruel and inhumane?
The only thing sadder than the picture of the murdered gorillas….is Ted Hammers.

I am writing here in response to pic. number 6 of someone cooking a rat in Suphanburi/Thailand.
I have lived in Suphanburi for a long time and can promise you that no-one boils rat to ‘make ends meet’. In fact, Suphanburi is rated one of the most developed provinces in Thailand. Whoever wrote the caption for that pic is a bit of a joker!

I would definitely agree with you if they were eating these gorillas. I am familiar with this picture as it is from a wildlife site where they are trying to protect these gorillas, and they are being killed by the locals for no reason other than that they are inhabiting the same areas where these people make, of all things, charcoal. So these are needless killings of these gorillas.
Secondly, why doesn’t the african government do something for their own people instead of always relying on other governments and the UN to do something.
