    maybe it is hebrew text i can’t say, but i can guarantee those are real jewish girls. i do know lots of russians moved to isreal and pose as jewish and they are no more jewish than michael jordan.

    i speak hebrew. that’s definitely hebrew, no doubt. there’s only one place in the world that hebrew is spoken, so i would have to say that those photos were taken in israel.

    Those are the CSKA Moscow Cheerleaders. The Israeli Basketball Federation invited them for the Final Four here. You seem there here at the Hapoel Jerusalem vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv finals and the preceding stage involving Hapoel Galil Elyon and some other team.

    It would be much easier to check your “facts” if you actually cited any facts in the first place.

    Government food subsidies exist in almost every country in the world. They have nothing to do with with obesity.

    Corn, soy and potato are hardly “junk carbohydrates”, and along with rice are consumed in large quantity in almost every country in the world. They are staples.

    For example, Russia is the 2nd largest producer of potatoes in the world. Russian’s lead the world in per capita potato consumption. 90% of the world’s potatoes are currently produced in Russia and Europe. You can hardly point the finger at the US on something like this. If the potato were a “junk carbohydrate” Russians would be waddling around the streets.

    You cite the vague concept of poisons, without giving details. Unfortunately, Russia has some of the largest number of food poisoning cases per capita in the world. Russia has no equivalent to the FDA, and quality of meat and food products can be very questionable at certain markets. Anyone who has been shopping at Russian markets knows to keep their eyes open for products that have been on the shelf too long.

    The accusation of the US being the sickest nation in the world will come as a great shock to the truly sick and poor in regions of China, India, Africa, Central Asia, etc. It is silly really to even enter the US in such a discussion, particularly by a Russian. The average life expectancy for a man is Russia is almost 20 years less than in the US (57 vs. 76 years).

    The problem with obesity in the US is undeniable. However, the causes are quite simple - we are wealthy, we eat too damn much, and we drive our lazy asses around in cars everywhere.

    LEAVE W.SHEDD ALONE HE SPEAKS THE TRUTH. Let me quote you some facts. I am British. I lived in Russia 4 years. I had a Russian wife. She was as slim and as fit as these women. So answer me this why when her and her Russian girl mates eat normally why do they all get fat when they are in the UK? She even went to the gym regulalrly and she got fat. All her Russian friends have the same problem. Even when she ate like a sparrow she got fat. A Polish friend of ours has exactly the same problem. The answer is obvious. If you feed a cow, pig or chicken hormones to make it fat and gain weight and you eat the cow, pig or chicken you will eat the hormones you will get fat. I loose weight when I am in Russia and exercise just as much. I go to the guym regularly and I am overweight. I only had food poisoning once in 4 years in Russia. So you get your facts right.

    By the way there are wealthy Russians, junk food is popular in Russia and they have cars too. What they do not have is meat stuffed full of growth Hormones.
    The girls are mainly ethnic Russians for sure. The 14th photo shows a girl with a classic Russian Eurasian face. If she was darker she would be a tartar. So why the Hebrew adverts? It is very easy to pay someone in Russia to change the nationality in your passport and then go to Israel and say, “look I am Jewish I want to immigrate”. It has been going on since 1991 and the Israelis have not worked it out yet. Ha, ha on them.

    Interesting conversation! Analysis based on statistics vs. observation of someone’s wife’s weight. It’s like Einstein having an argument about stars and universe with a farmer.

    For those who have no clue about entertainment industries: teams selections are not based on the principle first-come-first-served, and it’s not as much about looks as attitude and performance. And it’s preposterous to draw conclusions about economies from cheerleader team or … some chick’s weight.

    In reply a being that believes someone else’s unreferenced statistics over and above commonsense and his / her own experience is not Einsten nor a farmer, that being is a sheep. Moreover, it is a sheep that probably believes in Father Christmas.

    Russians are noticeably thinner than Americans and Western Europeans. I lived there for 4 years. They are not half starved africans. They own cars. They eat junk food and chocolate. They have long queues outside Mac Donalds even in winter. You buy and drink Coke and Pepsi. As I said, my wife and at least one hundred Russians she knows have had the same experience. Go to the UK eat our food and you get fat.

    The lesson of the BSE, estrogenic chemicals and similar food crisis is that you become what you eat. Common sense dictates that it is a very bad idea indeed to eat cows fed on growth hormones if you do not want to gain weight yourself.

    about our shapes : russians dont eat so much at MCdonalds , we prefer home-made eat.
